To reiterate, the Buddha's view was that all sentient beings have the same virtue and the same wisdom as the Tathagata - the pure, luminous virtue of Dharma-dhatu. However, the sentient beings are confused, do not return to their Original Nature and do not purify the Dharma-kaya and therefore they are called sentient beings, or different from buddhas.ps: maybe can re read the posts, maybe got new understanding. u try.

Pls remember that in Buddhism, although True Self is used as a word to describe Real, but in reality True Self is No Self, unlike other religions which posits that True Self has inherent existence. There is "past life", just as relatively speaking by clock time you may have drank coffee 3 hours ago. But reality is, it is just a continuum of the now moment. Past life memories and habits are also brought to this life, because our mental and karmic factors do succeed to this lifetime, and in fact we can even access them in deep meditation.Originally posted by sgquitter:very interesting read.

Life (Self) is nothing other than the continuous flow of the Now Moment.
The Now Moment ceases as it arises. This moment must completely ceased
and serves as the CAUSE for the next moment to arise.
Therefore Self is a process of series Self1, Self2, Self3, Self4, Self5, Self6...etc
A fixed entity 'Self' does not exist, what really exists is a momentary Self.
Under deep meditation, one is able to observe and sense the karmic and mental factors from moment to moment,
it is these factors that are succeeded from moment to moment and life and life but not a fixed entity.
When the karmic and mental factors subsides, it is known as "The True and Only (and Inherently egoless) Conscious Light (Itself)".
- Thusness
