First of all, you are right that Buddha does not feel happy, sorrow, fear, but he is compassionate.
But there are such prophecies, about the degeneration of humanity, heading for the final calamities in which all civilisations are destroyed. Not really 'final', as some will survive the crisis, and humanity will improve from then on.
