sangha offering

  Hi, i am asking for a fren whose kin is suffering from illness.. a venerable advise her to give offering to Sangha to help her kin to be liberated..
  
  anyone knw which temple has " offering to Sangha" ceremony ?

  8. Pindapata (alms food offering): 27 August, Sunday, 9 am
  On Sunday 27 Aug, our two Venerables, Sayadaw U Rajinda and Bhante Pannawuda will be going on pindapata (collection of alms food) in the vicinity of SMC. Giving alms food or food dana is one of the meritorious deeds. Devotees will gather at 9 am on the third storey of the centre to offer food dana to the Venerables on their alms round. Everyone is welcome to participate in this meritorious event and share the merit. Please do not offer money during the alms round as the monks will accept food only. Sadhu! Sadhuv! Sadhu

  sure no problem, but this food offering is not a ceremony or puja, its a actitivty held at the last sunday of every month.
  
  u can buy rice,oil,fruits, food, biscuits, toothpaste, medicine .. anything that is good for the venerables to use.
  
  the venerables will head out to the hawker center/wet market, (behind tiong bahru shopping center) in the morning ard 9am.. anyone can give food offerings to the venerables.
