I was there at 8-10pm this evening. It was definitely exhilirating and spectacular. Did not catch the Mr Chai one in the afternoon.
Representatives of 9 other faiths were also there. Impressive.
We are one and should be inclusive and should begin in the mind, to our home, neighbour, town, province and to the world.
Will be there again tomorrow. -

I reached there before seven and managed to find a seat.
Yes it was really packed. Even followers from Canada, Japan and other countries came.

Harmonious World Begins in the Mind¡ has concluded successfully and harmoniously.
On September 23rd and 24th, there had been more than 15,000 audiences. Besides the website of the Singapore Amitabha Buddhist Society, websites from Australia, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, also helped to provide live broadcast. The number of audience over the internet is estimated to be 5,000.
There has been strong support from overseas friends. From Malaysia alone, around 2,000 people informed us that they will be coming in organized groups. From Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Canada, and USA, around 360 persons came in organized groups. As for those that have come without notifying us, they are also in large numbers.
The Singapore Amitabha Buddhist Society wishes to thank Venerable Master Chin Kung, Mr Tsai Li-Hsu, the 30 associate organizers for this event, leaders as well as representatives from the ten official regions in Singapore for gracing this event, overseas guests, 1000 over volunteers, and everyone that had come to make this event a success!

We should not take the opportunity to take refuge as granted. Some people do not even have the conditions to take refuge due to karma, and you cannot ensure you can take refuge in your next lifetime. So we must cherish our opportunity and create this karmic affinity with the triple gems. This is most precious. We must not lose this opportunity.
