Library re-opened

The Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery Resource Library will be re-opened on the 8th of October in 2006 (1pm) , after major revamping of its facilities.
Some of its new features include -
- English and Chinese Buddhist reading materials for general interests
- Academic materials on all Buddhist traditions for research purposes
- AV materials, such as CDs, DVDs and VCDs, of Dharma talks, chants,
documentaries and music
- Wide variety of periodicals
- Children room with children reading materials
- Automated borrowing and returning system, with book-drop service
- Online catalogue for library item reservation and renewal
- Multimedia stations for AV items and internet access
- Wireless internet connectivity
- Meeting room for general purposes
- Self-service cafe
The library will be open daily (including public holidays, other than CNY) -
Monday to Friday - 11.00 am to 7.30 pm
Saturday & Sunday - 10.00 am to 5.00 pm
