  "Qing Shui Zu Shi" is a very popular deity worshipped by the Hokkiens, i don't know if he can be considered to be a bodhisattva though the Feng Shan Temple in River Valley is dedicated to him.

  WHy do the Hokkiens like to worship him so much?
  The Hokkiens worship the Fa Zhu Gong or Zhang Gong Sheng Jun also...

  Qing shui zu shi is a named known by those hokkien inner district bah
  
  He isnt a bodhisattva anyway . Just a kind person doing alot of charity work thats all .

  Qingshui zhushi life is very legendary.. i not sure so i wont comment on it
