i found the sutra that says you can skip bhumis

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva then said to the Buddha: "Bhagavan, I remember that countless billions of kalpas ago, a Buddha, whose name was Thousand Rays King Stillness Thus Come One, appeared in the world. Because of his mercy and mindfulness to me and all living beings, that Buddha, the World Honored One spoke this Vast, Perfect, Unimpeded, Great Compassionate Heart Dharani, rubbed my crown with his golden hand and said: 'Virtuous man, you should hold this heart-mantra to give great benefit and happiness to all living beings in the future evil age.' At that time I was just at the first Bhumi(stage of Bodhisattva), right after hearing this mantra, I exceeded the eighth Bhumi.

ah yes. Bohiruci told me at least twice that it is from the sutra that spoke about great compassionate mantra but i didnt saw the text. Thanks for sharing. Its a great mantra. But don ask me how can skip like that. If you want to know why or how, go ask a real bodhisattva.

this came straight into my mind:
Moreover, Shariputra, the living beings born in the Land of Utmost Happiness are all avaivartika. Among them are many who in this very life will dwell in Buddhahood. Their number is extremely many; it is incalculable. And only in measureless, limitless asamkyeyas of kalpas could they be counted. ---Amitabha Sutra
avaivartika is exactly eighth Bhumi.
and also Lankavatara sutra:
(12) Nagarjuna (lines 49-60)
Shakyamuni, the Tathagata, while dwelling on Mount Lanka,
Prophesied to the assembly of monks that in Southern India
A Great Being named Nagarjuna would appear in the world
And destroy all the wrong views on 'being' and 'non-being',
Thus expounding the unsurpassed teaching of Mahayana;
He would reach the Stage of Joy and attain birth in the Land of Peace and Bliss.
He teaches that the difficult practices are toilsome like traveling by land,
And urges us to believe that the Easy Practice is pleasant like sailing on water.
When a thought of mindfulness of Amida's Original Vow arises,
At that instant one spontaneously enters the Stage of Assurance.
Repeating always the Name of the Tathagata,
One should seek to repay for one's indebtedness to his Great Compassion.
Stage of Assurance i presume is also eighth Bhumi.

The Great Compassion dharani sutra states Avaolikiteshvara jumped from 2nd to 8th Bhumi by the recitation of Great Compassion Mantra
but however ,He is with all foundation solid liao then He can jump
You should go and repent sincerely, be down-to-earth in practice b4 even thinking of jumping bhumi
