As I said before, cut off head and you will cut off all emotions. But once you do that, say goodbye to your life. I doubt that there is a more practical and permanent solution than that.

fyi, in Buddhism pov, the guilt of suicidal action don't just end in one life, it continue to haunt in the next life when the person is reborn in the ghost realm. that mean the ghost have to undergo repeating action of the suicide for many times.

the problem doesnt end here, there are repercussions especially when nowadays the public associate sangha with "bald head" practioners only, some will immediately get the wrong impression and reject buddhism altogether, the karma of this is on his head, he becomes a destroyer of buddhism in this context
