"Normal" is just a perspective. In Buddhism's perspective, being born in Samsara, as a sexual being, is not even normal. So being a human isn't normal (unless you are enlightened). Having craving isn't normal.
Normal to us is the enlightened mind. While it is indeed normal to have sexual hormones, it does not necessarily mean a human must be attached to sexual feelings and then act according to the feelings.
And.. just because majority thinks otherwise, doesn't change the fact that it is just a matter of perspective.
