"Normal" is just a perspective. In Buddhism's perspective, being born in Samsara, as a sexual being, is not even normal. So being a human isn't normal (unless you are enlightened). Normal to us is the enlightened mind. While it is indeed normal to have sexual hormones, it does not necessarily mean a human must be attached to sexual feelings and then act according to the feelings.
And.. just because majority thinks otherwise, doesn't change the fact that it is just a matter of perspective. -
Heee like what bohiruci said , anyway if cultivation were to be so direct n simple , then might as well cut off all limbs and sexual organs of all monk n nun then confirm all will be enlightened ? Sigh !!! Can't imagine someone whom study so much buddhism teachings to do such things . It just shows how much he really understand it . To study and know is one thing , but to really understand and practice it is another thing . Hope we will not hear such things anymore .
