Diamond sutra , held in the highest esteem in the Chan Buddhism
engage brilliant discussion on the attachment on self, and the acts of a an Bodhisattva
one of the sutra discussion on emptiness. diamond sutra is full of unfettered wisdom and leads reader to a higher illuminosity on emptiness
I ,as a lousy practitioner ,just sharing based on ven shengyen and other works
intention is to open up a "pathway" in the exploration of emptiness teaching
beginner need not worry ,as many simple terms will be discussed before we proceed on

Namesake is what keep appearing in the sutra structure of diamond sutra
in the mind of Buddha Sakyamuni , he knows the emptiness of sentient beings as a name
becos sentient beings (conveniently ) and many die and reborn every seconds passed
so is only a collective terms He have no choice but to conveniently address the assembly of people
Next, he break our attachment by telling us ,his prediction at Dipankara , he did not attain anything by external ,but rather thru person efforts
He allow Ge Li Wang to dismember His body without any thoughts of hatred
as He have no regards of Self , Sentient Being , the Receiver (Suffering)
thus the term 3 tier of inherent emptiness -
This are some of the interesting thing after spending several years in reading and absorbing Diamond sutra
I hope i will be able to ride the waves of prajna and answer as best possible all the question given to me
