Global warming and Earth changes

Reading the news nowadays about global warming and its effects, sets me pondering...
Global warming and Earth changes perhaps are our collective karmas.
I think we must seriously do our part in reducing the effects... like use less aircon, etc. All of us are guilty of it.
I forsee a future that may not be as comfortable or luxurious as we wanted to be... as we live the collective karmic effect of humanity's action.
I alway believe that we humans are not that special and are not the centre attraction of this planet. If we don't wake up, nature will sobber us through its brute power. We always think that science and inventions are so all powerful... but we have greatly underestimated the complexity of co-habitating with the rest of the planet.

That was about one month before the asian tsunami... which happened on the 26th Dec 2004.
The symbols imply that planet changes will continue for some time and will cause much grieve and suffering.

I have to agree with you. Whether we believe that your prediction is true or not, there are signs that Mother Nature is suffering and dying because of our action. Like you've said, our electric appliances such as Air Con, Refridgerator releases harmful substances (forgot what it is liao) that eats up the ozone layer. On top of that, our transportation tools like cars, buses, even planes, emits carbon monoxide which causes the green house effect. Not only that, human burn down forests to create agricultural land or farming land, or worse still, golf courses. These are collective karmic forces that we human have created. As a result, we see both poles melting, sea level rising, climate changes abnormally. I always believed that the Tsunami on 26 Dec 2005 will not be the last of disaster. Unfortunately, the leaders of the world have repeatedly ignore these signs, and continued that their globalisation dreams. -

Frankly speaking, I am not too sure what are the list of things that we can really do to reduce the adverse effects.

Go vegetarian. Although I am not one yet.

No one can escape the effects, no matter where u came from.
Perhaps each of us can do our little parts.. for example, consume lesser air-con, don't waste too much papers, be more pro-active in joining those Green environmentalist groupies.
I think technology can help alot to solve some various problems. From what i know, Singapore is currently encouraging solar and other Green technology. Though the solar and green technology is still more often in used for govt building and schools. I hope to see much more improvment
if only mankind are less-selfish in the first place, tis problem could have been prevented.

we are only borrowing this planet from our children's children etc etc. Think about the future generation whom might be facing even more adverse effects. -

We are not the only one doing this.
But USA, China and other countries are still not cutting down much of their emissions of CO and other gases that is harmful to us and of course, the atmosphere of earth.

I didn't install aircon at home... my place is quite cooling.
But i am a heavy paper user at work Must learn to cut down on the usage.
I think solar and green technology is quite interesting...
Someone gave me a bio-degradable bowl... that after consuming your meal... can throw the bowl to the soil and it will decompose and return to the earth.

it's also relative to our human body. when we generated hatred, we feel heaty. hence if the collective human being on earth were to generate collective hatred, then the earth too will heat up.
when we generate greed, it's associate with coldness and water(flood etc).
when we generate ignorance/folly of not knowing cause and effect, it's associate with wind(typhoon etc).
when we generate unequality or uneveness, it's associate with earth quakes.
so, it's only when we can sever the ROOT collective 'poisons' of human beings, that the earth can return to normal.

The harm done by the inhabitants on Mother Earth has been going on for a long, long time. The harm which I am referring to, concerns all forms of pollutions.
I am afraid it is a little to late to save the earth on which we have been living on.
If Mother Earth is threatened, our existence will be threatened.
My understanding is: the human race will be anniihilated in years to come.
The human race does not seem to be willing to learn its lessons - how to live in harmony with nature. -

I am afraid it is a little to late to save the earth on which we have been living on.
If Mother Earth is threatened, our existence will be threatened.
My understanding is: the human race will be anniihilated in years to come.
The human race does not seem to be willing to learn its lessons - how to live in harmony with nature.
The Planet will move the elements to offset imbalances upon the surface.... resulting in all kinds of physical disasters to those who live on her surface.
