marks the birthday of Bodhisattva Maitreya
the Next-in-Line Buddha of to come and turn the Dharma wheel
Bodhisattva Maitreya ,embodiment of Loving Kindness
was the Founder of Yogacara Buddhism .He transmitted the Teachings of
Yogacara to Asanga and Vasubandhu Which Flourish the new 2nd age of Mahayana Buddhism in central India the Emptiness and Mind-only teachings
Which breaks all brahmanical views of the mind as eternal ,and further exploration on the Mahayana point of view in Mind teaching ,as compared to the Southern School of Abidhmma teachings
Actually there is not real birthday for Bodhisattva Maitreya.It is decided as an interesting monk who was plump and carries a cloth bag who never seems to exhausted on helping the needy during the Sung dynasty .the Monk said
"Maitreya is Maitreya ,thus is who i am " and set himself aflame and end his life in Saha world
thats the coming about of the Fat Maitreya in Buddhist temple
