If the Koreans that sacrificed themselves and put themselves in danger to become medical aid volunteers and if people like that, are stupid, then people that sacrificed themselves like Mother Theresa must also also be stupid to you.Originally posted by laoda99:mother teresa went to Afganistan?

Mother Theresa was apparently a young virgin nun and she went into the streets of Calcutta to help the desperately poor. The streets of India, even today, is safe? Delusional.Originally posted by sanath:Hi,
Mother Theresea was not stupid because at least where she was working was not a war zone, and was a safe place.
However, i cannot speak the same for the Koreans, they have been termed "stupid" by their own people for making their families worry when they knew that Korea had a caution against travelling to Afghanistan. Now, not only do their families have to suffer from anguish, they have also been subject to anxiety because they do not know when or if their loved ones will be released or killed.
I will not pray for them but i hope the best for them.
Let me remind you what you said: "at least where she was working.... was a safe place." The poorest parts and the streets of Calcutta "was a safe place" ???!!!Originally posted by sanath:Hi,
please do not put words into my mouth ok, i deeply respect Mother Theresa, having come from a Catholic home. However, i cannot condone the actions of the Koreans, because even though they may have gone to Afghanistan to go "volunteer" work, it is quite an open secret that they probably would have done missionary work as well, which as we know, is something taboo in Muslim countries.
