I went to a supermarket and i saw live sea creatures , fishes , prawns , crabs etc. The prawns were lying on the cardbox , struggling of course. The eyes of the fish turned red , body not moving , mouth movement can be seen , grasping for air.
My question is , do the boss of the supermarket creates some kind of karma. What is the degree of the karma ? How do we see this from the point of view from buddhism ?

But those directly involved in the killing will definitely incur unwholesome karma of killing.
As for the supermarket boss, I don't know in what way he is related to it... so no comments. -

The staff did not kill it , they simply let the live sea creatures lie there , they died due to lack of oxygen.
Supermarket boss or its staff may have brought up the idea of selling live seafood , as such they created some bad karma in an intangible way and hard to pass " verdict " on.
In a chicken farm , the staff kill the chickens or the staff operate the machinery to kill the chickens. The boss is not involved in the killing , but he set up the farm. He is the "seed " ? -

actually ,it kind of cruel that we see live seafood in struggling at their end of life
the boss of the supermart isnt committing a good karma .
According to the right livelihood , the supermart boss actually have indirectly caused death of many live fishes and prawns .
and the future lives of the supermart owner ,of course ,is not good -
the boss, killer or the worker definitely created bad karma, even people who feel happy to see the fish struggling painfully to death will create the same amount of bad karma.

i think althought they weight more karma by doing the actually killing, the people that involve in buying and eating are also responsible to the collective karma. it's like if people don't buy and eat, they also won't catch and sell. hence such is a collective or common karma (gong4 ye4). gong4 ye4 is difficult to handle wan.

Everyone of us are somehow involved in the killing and therefore we might suffer collective catastrophes like wars and natural disasters. As to the exact implication or how much we lose, it depends on what exactly is your involvement in that unwholesome act. -

The karma is , you "kill" me. I will look for you if there's a chance.

i feel karma is like law. with the action brings along karma, however, the intention and thought will also incur bad karma. that is why an indirect cause of death with the intention would lead to bad karma gathering by the individual.

although I do not eat meat , when I go near the supermarket , I would still be attracted by the smell of the meat especially roasted ones .
is this a bad karma ? -

My understanding is that even if you do not directly kill, there will still be karma if you are somehow involved.
I am telling from my own experience by tracing and knowing my own past life activities.
Also, the karma effect may not take place immediate, sometimes not even after the immediate lifetime.
I know of some people who were doctors before. In this life, they are still doctors. The bad ones are still having the same attitude. The karmic effect has not catch up yet.
Also, hmm how shall i put it... Trauma from past life imprints can cause trouble in the present life. For example, if one has died a terrible death by being murdered, the residue imprint can cause fears into future lifes. The imprint can cause some unpleasant occurences in future lives too. Until one learns to 'cleanse' off the past traumatic imprints. -
