different levels of heaven

can someone kindly post information on the different kinds of heavens.
there are 33 heavenly planes isnt it?
there is a heavenly beings who enjoy smelling incense like joss sticks isn it? -

And I don't think heavenly beings enjoy joss stick, because any Earthly smells cannot be compared to the kind of smells in heaven. -
erm what about dieties .
in buddhism view , if we pray to dieties even if u think they r still reborn after death .
like some hero become diety after death like yue fei .
do ur praying make them suffer lesser in their afterlife ?
like if we pray to ur ancestor sincerely , do they get blessings ? -

It doesn't even have to be your direct family's ancestors, but anyone who has done great deeds, deserved to be respected, etc... you can pay your reverence and respects to them.
This is NOT about worshipping them, and not about asking for favour... this is about paying our respect and remembrance of these people for their noble deeds.
Of course though, we should not pay reverence or honour the evil, criminals, murderers, and so on that has harmed others...
Praying to the dead will *not* make them suffer less in their afterlife... depending on their karma, they may be reborn in higher realms like celestial or human realm, or the lower realms.

As for praying to our ancestors for favours, honestly speaking, it doesn't work this way. Because if our ancestors have been reborn in higher realms or human realm... it is already a different lifetime.. they have moved on. Similar goes to being reborn in lower realms like hell or animal realms...
If your ancestor has turned into a ghost, he himself is undergoing suffering in the ghost realm... so how can he possibly give you much blessing when he himself does not have much blessing?
So, it is advisable not to be too superstitious over these things.
We can pay our respect to ancestors, but it is not really good to be superstitious or dependent.
Update: sorry, just realised you meant 'do THEY get blessings'... but anyway I have replied above. Anyway it strikes me as kind of strange, because usually people pray to them TO get blessings for himself... how would praying TO them make THEM get blessings? "I pray to you to bless yourself."

After browsing through the different levels of heaven, I find that level 11 is the best place to be
.
Cannot imagine how super-enjoyable life is to be there...

Not necessarily as one is affected most by one's individual doings and karma, our ancestors karma won't affect us. -

After death, of course they will continue their cycle of rebirth because they have not been liberated from samsara yet (except one particular plane in the 4th jhanas where anagamis are reborn to attain arhatship, those arhats in the 4th jhana planes have transcended samsara)
Even if you attain the 8th jhana, the plane of neither perception nor non perception, you will still be reborn after death and possibly be reborn in the lower realms. That is why rebirth in celestial plane is unreliable, and dangerous.
We should not seek rebirth in celestial planes, but seek to transcend rebirth, transcend karmic birth. Then we can experience the bliss of the deathless. -

enjoyment is a mind polluter , it's nt really a karmic thing but ppl who indulge in enjoyment cant really take sudden change in life unless gt gui ren help them or consuel them .
human attachment before death is intense let alone a deva .
i gt a relative who had cancer and before her death , she still want to eat her fav food and fav stuff . -

Embryos, using moisture as nidus for their growth,
like certain lowly forms of animal life, belong to the third class.
Beings having a spontaneous birth are generally invisible to the physical eye.
Conditioned by their past Kamma, they appear spontaneously,
without passing through an embryonic stage.
Petas and Devas normally, and Brahmas belong to this class.
