Dedication of Merits

  hi...Is there ways to dedicate merits done by ourselves to others?

  yes...but there's a cap/limit. it's still best that the person do it themselves.

  But that person is christian..(not implying that christians cannot perform good things to gain merits).

  You can still do it, but don't have to tell him that because "merit dedication" is a buddhism term, so when he hear it, he may make some bad comments that end up getting more bad karma then the good karma you dedicate to him.

  Actually, it is more virtuous to dedicate the merits to others than to yourself. That way you are cultivating selflessness which in return you gain more than you give.
