This session will helps ppl have some foundational understanding in Lankavatara Sutra
all questions are welcomed

Buddhism is a two school of realisation
Awaken to the Phenomenon of Arising and Awaken to the non attachment to Form
Buddha sees the life and death and many past people and their future lives on the 5th Lunar Month thats the night when He attained Enlightenment
Lankavatara presents the 2 proposition
Character and Form toward Enlightenment
While Zen ask everyone to "break free" from Form which is the Characteristics
not knowing the Form or "state" one is in ,can be a headache .
Someone point to the moon and a Dhyana practitioner ,say uhmm .But some buddhist student who seeing that Dhyana practitioner reaction , could not be
justified becos to everyone moon is a moon , not labelling doesnt provide the appeal to the other Buddhist
which they might reply ... chey!
so Form takes a "labelling " form but not attached as this will increase the "attachment " to it
thats the reason why Lankavatara is very appealing to Zen Buddhist due to its harmonization of Yogacara teaching
