My suggestion to you is, don't be too interested in this. It will not be very useful, very often confuses people and many cannot cope with it, and furthermore, there are much more useful goals pursuing -- i.e enlightenment, liberation, wisdom and bliss, etc.
My taiwanese teacher does not allow his students to seek supernatural powers prior to attaining wisdom as it would just become a distraction and causes more outward seeking preventing the arising of inner wisdom. When you attain enlightenment, gradually you will develope these powers but they merely come as a side effect, so you do not need to seek them.
