Sutra stated that our ancestor actually devas from heaven, due to greed to the food on earth and subsequently the unwholesome deeds, gradually evolve to human.
I was thinking if human realize the mistake and attachment that harm us, then diligently practice to get rid of the attachment and 3 poisons, will we evolve to devas form again?
Buddha mentioned that human lifespan when reach 10 years old, will gradually increase to 84000 years old. Is this 84000 lifespan human being consider a deva already? No, still a human. Maitreya will attain Buddhahood at such a period and teach the people of that era. Tens of billions of people will attain enlightenment. The conditions for spreading dharma couldn't be more favourable. Those people's merits are great and the technology is very advanced. For example, billions of people attend a single dharma session broadcast at one times. The wheel turning king travels in a golden flying vehicle that can reach 3 other planets with humans in 1 days' time.
If so, will it make them difficult to practise because human life is still the best realm to practice buddhism.
Yes, except we don't attribute it to a 'creator'.Originally posted by NotFromVenus:Buddhism got creation theory meh ?
