When the intention is good , why bad things ?
When the intention is bad ,how come smooth thing in the first place
its still bring to this point of Karma on certain (heaviest) and uncertain(lighter)
Heaviest karma ripen first and immediate fruition while lighter karma might not even take place now , but in the far far away future
The heaviest karma for bad deeds is Causing Buddha to bleed , Damage to the sangha harmony , matricide ,patricide and killing of arhats
Like in Tippet ,undebatably he ended World War , bringing a stop to killings of more people in the world due to World War ,but I dun think he have not seen the "black deadly mushroom " when he return to USA .though US media made it so scantily emphasized in their news .this is still a thing done .
From my viewpoint ,its very hard to see what Tippet future birth is like ,becos I dun live his life from infant till the time he drop A bomb
Effect ...maybe anyone can shed some light on this part ?
Again ,comes to eating meat or non-meat .The issue is not on jacking up the supply chain or what ,but what is the intention and what is the source of the meat [alive and killed before sold , or already killed offered as a lump of meat]
I dun regard that as grey area , becos intention plays a chief role in all this
. Good topic, have wanted to start a topic like that too. Maybe when I have gathered enough questions about it.
The most negative karma is not just about hurting Buddhas. The most negative karma one can commit, if I recall correctly in Wu2 Liang4 Shou4 Jing1 is actually slandering the Buddha's teachings (like saying Cause and Effect is bulls*** or baseless, Buddhas don't exist, Triple Gems are no refuge for us, etc).
Even an evil smile or wicked look at those praying to Earth-Store Bodhisattva would land you with a karma suffering so heavy that even after 1000 Buddhas are born and have gone into Parinibbana, you would still be in hell suffering day and night. For more details, please refer to the Sutra of Earth-Store Bodhisattva's Fundamental Vows.
