Chanting of mantra also the same, just focus, no need to think about anything that further complicate your mind.
Then at the end of the chanting session, you must share the merit with all sentient beings. Must read the proper hui2 xiang4 wen2 because these are the blessed words. If you have any urgent issue that need buddha to help, pray for the help sincerely.
