Repentance

Many a times , we have been told to repent for our wrong doings in our many previous lives. But the problem is , we do not know what sins we have committed , thus it is very difficult to repent.
People born with physical disabilites do not know what sins they have committed in the past to repent. I mean , how to repent when you dont know what wrong doings u have committed in the past lives.

Then repent on those you can remember plus the wrong doings caused by the 3 greed, hatred and ignorance. -

IMHO, to know what we have done wrong in this life and previous life requires a certain degree of wisdom of which it can be cultivated and gained through proper understanding Buddha teachings.
How many of us have the wisdom to know that killing a mosquito has its karmic retribution? That it has equal status like us. Buddhism taught me that it is wrong and I don't kill them since. Believe it, it doesn't come to me anymore.
