  hi bodhi hut , i applause you for the effort to promote , but seriously i will still stay with Wisdom Bliss as its quite well-known in whole of singapore for a long time

  because when u say post articles on all 3 schools ,how would you know which one is correct ,which is not ?do you follow a teacher or rinpoche ?

  How far can you manage the troublemaker in the forum ?thats food for thought

  First of all I would like to clarified, I am not here to put any peolpe or influence any people to come to Bodhi Hut Forum,éš�缘..if you were to take a little bit of your time, to go and take alook, I think its no harm for you. I been looking around in SG website on relgious stuffs..but I have not come across any forum which has two languages...

   

  Maybe a little more on Bodhi hut Forum...The three school are the main school of thought in buddhism now...Theravada is the initial teaching by Shakayumuni.Each school has their own characteristic and teaching but all follow the Buddha four noble truth and eightfold path conceptual. I been learning buddhism for coming to five years, beside only buddhism I explore other religion.

   

  At many times, alot of buddhist claim that they are buddhist, but how much do they understand about buddhism, and the teachings and the sutra, and many cross path to Taosim.The three manin school has branch out to many sects, and this might be abit confusing to many buddhist. But if you follow the Four noble truth and eightfold path correctly, different schools and sect just act as a 'way' for a person to suit his practise.

   

  This forum has been set up since last year July, I pick alot of things while putting it up, there are many chinese articles that wrote by me and photo gallaries created by me...Buddhism can put into a much simpler presentation to people and they can understand to illustration better. There are many online streaming clips, which it also help readers whom aint strong in chinese characters.

  The forum need to be registered, but member activate the account upon sign up by checking on their email which they submitted during registration. The activation is send immediately. This is needed to prevent troublemaker, as a adminstrator of the forum, my job is to bring buddhism to people, but of cause people can come and go, so long they find it useful they just pick up the information, I aint competing with anyone, as I not here just post a thread and disappear, I join many oversea forum, mainly china sites, as the sites are more resouceful, which I can bring it to bodhi hut.

  You have done a good work. I would suggest that in order to attract more visitors, you should associate this forum to some established and well known buddhism website. Maybe let a buddhist organisation to co-run this forum. If not, it will take long time to gain the trust of fellow buddhists. Learning dharma is very beneficial, but learning the wrong thing and treat it as dharma can be equivalent harmful also.

  There are other authentic buddhism forums that I visited sometimes, but I still come to this buddhism wisdom bliss because this forum is visited by non-buddhists. I find it important and more joyful to share dharma to non-buddhist and buddhist to be.

  Thank you for you recommendation....I have currently 400++ members....there is a blog which I created for Bodhi hut forum, which enable members to download buddhist music...I am making the forum as friendly as possible, buddhist or non buddhist are welcome...ultimately we are learning from each other, if you got time dropby take alook..as i mentioned before not competing with anyone, just share to Singaporean on what another Singaporean has done for buddhism.....

  No Problem, we learn togather, as I am also a practioner, I invite people so that I learn from others. I aint resourceful, just that I spend more time on the computer than many people. Gotto update forum and Bodhi Hut Blog, that is another site where music files are kept, you may visit the link stated the media section, you can even download the buddhist songs.

   

  Moreover thank you for giving me a chance here to post my site up.I will link Bliss Wisdom in Bodhi Hut Affiliate site which I have done for some of the members, anyone who wish to add a blog in Bodhi Hut just popby write a PM to me, I will put you up.

  You should include another forum ,which is Compassionate Affinity is also in sgforums to form an non-biased view

  Anyway Wisdom Bliss is under AEN

  and Compassionate Affinity and Amitabhaland is the other two forum

  I will say your effort is quite good ,in the effort to promote Buddhism ,but I really would like you to join skype first to do more retrospective first as your knowledge is not that strong in Buddhism.

Inregards to your "knowledge is not that strong in Buddhism", sorry to say,how do you know I am not strong?Or are you stronger?Likewise I do not know how strong is your knowledge.I am here to introduce an interface to more local people,if you are good in Pureland Buddhism, then I would like to invite you to join onboard as a moderator.As the forum has monolistic members as well, we aint comprehen about knowledge, I hope more people will get to know buddhism, hopefully in a wider concept, each sect is equally beneficial, not only Mahayana is stronger or more popular.

  Anyway. I am looking for Theravada moderator, anyone who are keen or willing to forgo abit of your time, can help to expand the theravada section.

  The owner An Eternal Now has joined Bodhi Hut forum few days ago, and I thank him for putting some good articles too.There are many doubts in joining a forum, but I am open to anyone, if you can come and take a look  you judge for yourself, no point guessing.   hi bodhi hut,

  Just went to the buddhism forum that you created.
  Really impressive of the amount of effort that you put in, the nice user interface, the posting.
  The forum have different sub-forum for different schools and lineage, I would suggest that you it should have a general or basic buddhism sub-forum that all topics under it will also appear in sub-forum like vajrayana, teravada and so on.
  So topic like for example 4 noble truth and so on will appear in vajrayana also.

  So it can remind people from different lineage of the basic buddhism. It is good to practice dzogchen but what is the point if the person have no bodhicitta or can't even keep 5 precepts.

  The website doesn't remember my login session, don't know why.
  It should allow anonymous user to view the various forums and articles, so the chances of them signing up will be higher.
  It shouldn't refresh so frequently, coz it will make the website overload.
  btw, which temple you frequent usually.

  Hi,

  thanks for joining, let me elaborate more so that you know how to use the interface, its pretty simple.

   

  There are one section called Basic Buddhism, Mahayana, Theravada, all the topics are post according to the different schools, well depends on members too, if they post the wrong topcis in the wrong section I will move it to the correct section.There is a sticky thread, this implies some notes telling on what this section is all about, and some of the sticky thread recommend some good site.

  The four noble truth and eightfold path are the fundemental of buddhism, all school follow the same. So I have put it in Basic Buddhism.

  The forum can remember your login, there is a column for your username, password, and a small check box for you to check it so that it will remember your login, if you clear your cookies in your PC, your PC will not able to auto login when you visit again.

  It is a good idea to have sub forum, but too many subforums will confuse people, and need people to manage, if the forum can expand, then future I will set sub forum of each school.

  The reason why you need to sign up to gain access full spectrum of the forum, because this will decrease the risk of hackers, hacking into the forum, which I read on the forumer website which they prompt adminstrator to be responsible on their site and enable login capabilities rather than open to public.

  There are many features of your nick, you can upload an avatar, send PM, edit your post, post pictures, post video etc, if you have any doubts drop me a PM in Bodhi Hut. Please try to go through all the section in the forum, especially the Gallaries and media section, because I spend the most time putting up both that section. If you visit the Philiosophy Flag section, you may read on some articles/poetry written by me.
