a blessing in troubled times.
A lot of temples or shops got sell blessed thread wrislet.
Just to name a few, golden pagoda temple, green tara at aljunied, amitabha buddhist centre, meta welfare and so on.
They are normally in the form of mala (念ç� ).
Other than wearing it for the blessing, when you are outside and want to do chanting, you can do it using the mala.

What city do you live in? Most cities probably have a monastery or dharma center somewhere.
Otherwise, you may have to search for some websites.. but I don't know these websites so can't be of help, sorry.
