Anyone knows the answer?
Any links on what Buddha say about eating egg while being a vegetarian?
Thanks
Why not? But there are strict vegetarians who do not consume anything that has to do animals, including eggs. However, Buddha did not say that you cannot eat egg or whatsoever. In fact, Buddha did not restrict buddhists to become vegetarian. However, it is better to avoid eating too much meat as they come from the killing of innocent animals.
I think egg is a no no if you consider youself a strict vegetarian.Prata kosong my friend.and find out also what kind of oil are they using.
Just my opinion. I think we can eat eggs. The situation now is very different from that in ancient times. People rear eggs for consumption. Those eggs are not fertiled and thus are not considered living. Everything in our lives are in one way or another related to animal products, we can't avoid them. We can only do things that do not go against our conscience. I think in this case, we have not killed any sentient beings.
Personally, I love eggs and I eat a lot of them.

Actually, it's not compulsory for Buddhists to be vegetarian. I still eat meat.
There are venerables who don't take eggs at all. I think the reason is simply that some eggs may produce a new life. Thus they don't wish to take any chances.
But I guess it still up to u. You may refrain from eating eggs if you think likewise and thus it can become one way of cultivating compassion too. Up to your convenience.
I don't really take eggs becos I find them smelly.

cow's milk is harmful to adult especially Asian people.
Furthermore, calves is produced as a byproduct although it is not needed by them, so slaughtering of calves happen because of people drinking milk.
