Eye opening.
Everyday is also a past lives... every fleeting moment that pass us by..
I hope the link is useful for those who want to honestly assess their own situation and be cognizant of the unconscious working of their own mind.
Basically the bottomline is to come to an awareness of the unconscious working of the mind. Past life therapy is one of various methods.
One thing i am pretty sure is that the unconscious working will seems natural when there is no awareness of it. That's why it is known as the 'unconscious'.. because the person is not aware of such as dynamics that are shaping his or her reactions and life experiences. It is much more common that we usually are aware of.
When there is awareness of whatever that is conditioning subconsciously at real time, the mind can somewhat 'rest down'. I guess, in this aspect the PLR is somewhat similar to many other types of awareness training.
this is interesting. however for most people they wont be able to recall anything about past lives because they are clouded by delusion etc.
This is interesting because some of the problems the sufferers had in that website is linked to neurological disorders(like anorexia nervosa, body dismorphic disorder)
i myself suffer from severe obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD) (not the wash hands type) which is a neurological disorder which has a physiological/biochemical cause. no doubt it is related to past life karma but exactly what isit im not sure, and it would be interesting to read about case studies like those in the website for those who suffer from OCD.
problem is most of us are clouded by delusion theres no way we can remember past life memories. even if for me i am able to recall, this revelation itself cannot make my current disorder disappear. more urgent is to find the correct way to alleviate the neurological disorder which is causing hindrance and debilitating consequences to sufferers' lives everyday, and i believe since these neurological disorders, even though related to past karma, have manifested as physiological problems, they should be addressed as such.
there may be cases of mental illness not caused by neurological/physiological causes but thats another story.
i am still waiting for karma to unfold it's effects on those who have done me wrong.
times like these i wonder if there truly is a superior being to balance out the rights and wrongs.

No, there is no superior being out there to balance the rights and wrongs.
Karma is a natural law, it is not controlled by a supreme God. Buddhists do not believe in such a God.
Next, karma does not necessarily need to ripen the next day someone has done wrong. It could ripen in a future lifetime. Similarly seemingly 'good people' may have many misfortunates and die a miserable death. This can be traced to karmic causes from a past life.
And anyway, one should really learn how to forgive people than to keep resentment in one's mind.
