Prayers for dogs that have been murdered

  Dear all,

    Anyone able to advise what are the prayers that will be good for dogs that have been murdered? If the dog has been cremated, any particular prayers will be able to help him to reborn to a better place to be able to practice Buddhism?

  u can chant Homage to the Baosheng Ru lai

  Namo Baosheng Ru lai

   

  This is the Buddha who compassion on dogs and cats who are died wrongfully

  Thank you very much. I was chanting Da Bei sutra initially, now I know there is one more to make him go in pece. I have engaged some thai monks to chant for him before he cremated but I want him to have a better next life.

  Does buddhism practise prayers like christians ?

  I saw a book called power of prayer written by buddhist practitioners.

  I remmebered that Buddha once said to his disciples. Look at the ants here. although there were a few Buddhas reborn in this world, they have been ants until now. that means they have been ants life after life for eons.
