After being exposed to budhhism for some time , do u feel or have any special affinity with any buddha or pu sa ?

I think one of the reasons i start the thread is because there are so many buddhas and pu sa around. I dont really understand what is meant by 'special affinity' ?
Although i do not seem to feel 'special affinity' with any buddha or pu sa , but i would chant mani mantra. Have taken part in mani retreat before. Maybe this means i feel affinity with guan yin ???? Or maybe i think too much and this is not really so important . :p
On the other hand, i am comfortable with chanting di zang pu sa's karma-reducing mantra.

Also recognise the convenience that Amituofo gave us. Chant his name as little as 10 times and we would be received by him upon death , terms and conditions apply.
And not to forget the the buddha in this time, Shakaymuni buddha. Om muni muni maha muni ye soha
Naturally, i would chant the mani mantra. Recently, i watch a dharma CD on Amituofo's pureland. Why practise other methods of cultivation when we can just chant the name of Amituofo? ( my question). It is a much easier way to go to wetern pureland. Mediate whole life and you may not accomplish anything , learn tibetan tantric practices also may not accomplish anything.
Of course, we can say there are 8,4000 ways and diff pple have diff preference.
All got their special purpose.
Guan Yin is about relieving suffering.
di zang pu sa is about hell realm, helping those that are suffering and generating merits/virtue.
Shakaymuni buddha is about respect for our original teacher.
now Amituofo is about going to western PL after death. to me, i think is Most important and long term.
all can recite for merit/virtue, but one must have in mind the certainty that one will see Amituofo when one die. then there's your Root 'Buddha' 本尊. if see other Buddha bodhisattvas (except Guan Yin or Dashizi with Amituofo), it can mean the interruption of mara or ur mind is not steady. if one always recite Guan Yin, then there's your "Root" affinity or Root 'Buddha' 本尊 instead of Amituofo. So depend on what u want to see per se.

2) I remember listening from one dharma talk ( cant remember clearly now ) that reciting guan yin's mantra can also lead one to western pureland after death, since guan yin is one of the 3 "saints" of WPL. I understand that guan yin is an outstanding disciple of amituofo. Can you clarify ?
3) Guan yin has a female fa xiang in chinese buddhism , but a male fa xiang in tibetan buddhism ? Actual gender ?
4) Go WPL liao, confirm not undergoing anymore rebirth ? Even when the citizens in WPL may not reach full enlightenment.
i don't know what you call it. I feel happy to be able to go temple to communicate with guan yin pu sa. Have learnt to rely on her more than ever. I find peace in doing so compare to attending church.

Maybe can say you have yuan( affinity) with guan yin pu sa.
