IMO it is much worse.
Why? When you gossip in forum, hundreds or thousands of people are listening.
When you gossip with a friend, then the damage is much less.
There is no karma at all since nothing is fixed. æœ‰å› å�¯èƒ½æ²¡æœ‰æžœï¼Œæœ‰æžœå�¯èƒ½æ²¡æœ‰å› 。

"Nothing is fixed" means everything is dependently originated, an aggregate of causes and conditions that doesn't stay even a moment.
There is nothing that manifests without conditions.

Why not? Condition can have no manifestation and manifestation can have no conditions. Independent origionation is true.

I would think that is dependent on situations. If you gossip with a friend about someone that both of you knows, that damage could likely be much more, rather than much less.

If dependent origination does not occur everywhere, then if I do A (cause) + B (condition) then it may or may not result in C (effect)
It doesn't make sense. If I put a blue chemical and a green chemical together and it's supposed to have a chemical reaction resulting in a yellow chemical, you're saying the reaction may or may not take place.
Or if I hit the bell, and your ears are working properly, there's a probability you might not actually hear the sound.

You're right. But just don't overlook the karma of posting on the net, I think it's either just as severe or worse, depending on situation.
