A very good movie imo my dharma friend recommended me.
It's about how a man who survived a plane crash and undergone a
mystical transformation that ended his fear and identification with a
self.

A post by our moderator longchen in 1 Jan 2006 in another forum came to mind:
There is no going toward the Source... we are the Source. The fact that
you do not understand this... show that to me... you have not awaken
yet...
We
are both the source and the creative expression of it simultaneously.
Creative expression and return to essense happens all the time, at each
and every moment. It is the temporary 'not being able to return to
essense' that is as per karma. To me, source is constantly seeking to
complete the cycle... just like fluid dynamics. Every single one of us
follows a divine order... seeking to balance the whole all the time...
it is balanced and being done ALL the time... it is just that the
individual parts cannot see the TOTALITY. The indivdual part are us...
the individual selfs. Therefore, i say, we as the individual
self/personality' is not the 'doer of actions'... by being thoughts and
action...we are the 'being done'.
Yes, healing is important...
but the healing only leads to greater and greater understanding that we
are the source and that nothing is really that important. Things are
displays... even death is an illusion... so whats' so scary about not
ascending?
Constantly...we are being fooled otherwise... by
the concepts, conditionings that influences us... even if the
perpertuator says 'WE ALONE HAVE THE TRUTH'. However, even the
perpetuators are a part of the dynamics of balancing.
Fearlessly,
we enter the NOW moment, and realise that all along we have been fooled
by the thoughts that is us... Nevertheless, it is also the thoughts
that is us that returns us back to the understanding of us as the vast
Source.
When we realise that we are the source... less and
less we are bothered by events. More and more fearless and happy we
become... This is what is happening to me. I have healed my fear of
death.
