For a bodhisattva who achieves liberation, he stops creating karmic causes for further rebirth. Instead his actions will be pure... Aka pure karma. Why? No longer driven by attachment and the three poisons of greed hatred ignorance. Also the karmic propensity and the I Am conceit (illusion of being a self) which is the root cause of rebirth is also removed.

Please correct me if I am wrong!
A Buddha is someone who attained enlightenment through his own effort, meaning in his time there is no Buddha he can learn from, otherwise he would have been called an arahant.
Maitreya Buddha will only appear when the tradition of Buddhism is extinct. Just as Shakamuni Buddha is the founder of Buddhism in our time, Maitreya Buddha will also be a founder of Buddhism . Prior to his paribbana, the Buddha is a Bodhisattva to us!
An Eternal Now
Thats right :)
