KL Grand Setrap & Dzambala Puja 2010 30-31 Jan 2010
In view of the forthcoming Grand Setrap & Dzambala Puja 2010 being
held on 30th and 31st January at the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall,
the organising committee led by Liaison Paul Yap called a press
conference at Kechara Oasis Vegetarian Restaurant, Jaya One.
2010, the year of the flamboyant metal tiger, is prophesised by Feng
Shui masters to bring conflict among people and nations, as well as
natural and man-made disasters. To cushion these anticipated
challenges, Kechara House (KH) is organising this grand prayer session
themed The Garden of Wealth and Prosperity, to help clear obstacles
and improve luck, wealth and prosperity for the coming year. These
ancient practices of Dharma Protector Setrap and Buddha of Wealth
Dzambala were introduced by the Spiritual Guide of Kechara House, H.E.
Tsem Tulku Rinpoche of Gaden Shartse Monastery. The practices are said
to have the power to pacify obstacles, negative energies and alleviate
poverty.
Reporters from newspapers such Sin Chew Jit Poh, The Malay Mail,
Bernama (Business), China Press and Kwong Wah Jit Poh and magazines
Emmagem, Voice and Murai were present at the press conference. The
Chairman Paul Yap explained that the purpose of this grand prayer
session is to reach out to the public so that they too can have the
opportunity to learn these precious and beneficial ancient practices.
