  I understand there are moderators within this forum. Of course the overall in charge and managing people can do this but shouldn't at least the moderator and owner of the forum be informed and given some reasons why the action has been done? Now shouldn't any similar threads at Eternal Hope be removed too?

  yes so you see there are practising and non practising buddhists. practising are those who heed the Buddha's teaching into practise, whereas non practising are those who read alot, but never put it into practise.
