About the Retreat (8th – 11th May)
Retreat will begin at 8.30am sharp and conclude at 9.30pm everyday, except on the last day, Tues, where the retreat will conclude at 6.30pm. This is not a stay-in retreat.
The detailed teaching/practice/empowerment schedule will only be announced every morning,
based on the esteemed recommendations by H.E. Garchen Rinpoche.
On the 3rd day of retreat, the White Tara Empowerment will be bestowed to all retreatants (this session is open to general public).
On the final day of retreat, the Guru Yoga and Tsog Offering Puja will be the finale of the 4 Days’ retreat whereby we strengthen our commitment to Rinpoche and repair any tantric infraction.

Retreat Program This year, Rinpoche will generously bestow the Vajrakilaya Empowerment over two sessions (Preparation and Actual Empowerment) to all full time retreatants. One has to receive both the Preparation and Actual Empowerments so as to receive the complete blessings and permissions.
The main topic for this year’s retreat will be the Dzogchen Trekcho Teaching. Rinpoche will be giving Dzogchen Trekcho teaching based on Patrul Rinpoche’s work “Three Words that Strike the Vital Points”.
Rinpoche will also be giving us instructions on the Great Drikung Phowa, Amitabha and Vajrasattva Practices. All teaching and practice sessions will be led by Rinpoche. There will also be Question and Answer session that Rinpoche will be answering questions that retreatants may have.
