Therefore, the chanting service for both the late and living beings is important. It reflects the love towards others even though they have left this world. The merits transferred is very helpful for both living and dead. It also evokes one's love through the practice of altruism from the chanting service that benefit the living beings and sending harmonious wave to its surrounding environment as well. It is also a manifestation of filial piety and grateful towards ancestors. In fact, most of the living beings still required this service in view of the bardo state.
