The Three Roots of practice in the Vajrayana are the Lama, Yidam, and Dakini.
The Lama confers empowering blessings, the Yidam bestows siddhi (power and
realization) and the Dakini dispels obstacles and performs the Buddha activity.

red smoke offering, Amitabha ritual ceremony and releasing the deceasd to
liberation (jangchok) for 100 days, dedicating merits to the beings of the 6
realms.)The names submitted for lamp lighting blessing as well as names submitted for the Jangchok will be extremely fortunate. Rinpoche will be performing the above puja and rituals at Ratnashri Center also.

Oddiyana Retreat and Pilgrimage 2011
Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling Monastery in Rewalsar have great pleasure in announcing the 5th Oddiyana Retreat and Pilgrimage Starting on 2nd February 2011.
Drikung Lho Ontul Rinpoche will be teaching on the following subjects:

Each day will end with a Red and White Smoke Offering
The teaching will last for 7 days after which Ontul Rinpoche will lead a pilgrimage to Sanchi, Ellora, Ajanta and Kenheri Caves.
