Can someone help to answer : 万法归一,一归何处?
Course can/cannot continue depending on individual and it is recommended to continue for the good intent of 法轮常转. It is both helpful to the teacher and students as well. Teacher is able to continue the learning from its teaching vice versa. Besides, teachers and students learning dharma together are also 万法归一 . Upon blissful acquired Bodhi from the course through let go entirely is ä¸€å½’æ— æ‰€å½’ - 一家人欢欢喜喜, 大爱大爱也. Attending Buddhism course is also a form of planting merits and blessings and will fruition in Western Paradise if you are purelanders in this lifespan, according to
Also living beings achieved the understanding of dharma from from any of the 84000 methods called Upon understanding and begins the footstep along the path of enlightenment is called 一归 the path of enlightenment.
万法归一,一归何处 - According to Zen Patriarch 慧大师 - 觅心了得, is saying that having this 一归何处 is 觅心. Until the cow come down from uncountable future lives of rebirth and rebirth .... also no yield. Why? Because, no let go the 觅心 due to no understanding 解悟, there is also regress (退), unless living beings achieved avinivartanīya (阿鞞跋致). The spiritual level from which a Bodhisattva will never regress (退) from Buddhahood. For Patriarch Hui Neng, he did not fall into the category of 解悟 but 悟 due to his extremely high aptitude of let go.
Basically for Purelander, 万法归一 is loving kindness / benevolence / NamoAmitofo 一归何处 - Western paradise. In fact, for purelander, the avinivartanīya (阿鞞跋致) is before rebirth to pureland based on faith, vow and practice :D
when a koan is ask, and the mind want to find an answer, but the mind cannot find, it just cannot move forward. stay in that moment. stop the mind from wandering. that's the essence of Buddha-natural. -- Hyun Gak Sunim

is easier to understand ha ha ha.................
My Zen Master said our true nature is already there so it is not practice (修) to see our true nature. It is to find() our true nature because our true nature is always there but it is convered by our ignorance. Suppress our emotion (anger etc) is not the way, must understand and awaken (something like that). Make sense to me.

Couldn't agree more!
That is why I often say self-inquiry, koan or other similar forms of practice are the Direct Path to realization.
Your true nature cannot be developed, cannot be reached by altering experience. It IS. It just needs to be realized.

Oh Zen, I love Zen =) Since true nature is already there, why a need to(修) and find() true
nature.Isn't it (修) and find(å‚) is the same. 万法归一 is æ— ä½,一归何处 is 生心, æ— ä½了,生自然爱心 :D
If the ppl is nt buddhist , the ppl mite tot u r siao to meditate on funny question.

she ask me, 爸爸时候是什么? what was her father(which is my brother) doing when young ?
i felt my mind cannot move forward. but then i reply “ä½ å¤§äº†è¦åšä»€ä¹ˆ?” what will u be doing when u grow up?
her mind was very simple, there was no thought of career (事things to do业karma.action). she say, 我å°时候一直笑,大了一直å“. When i was young, i was happy, but when grow up, i often cry.
true. when young, mind very clean. then growing up absorb external stuff, start to suffer./\
This is ignorant mind, not simple.
Should have probably reply the koan for 爸爸时候是什么?

no la, i'm refering to Hyun Gak Sunim saying on Matthew’s Gospel: “If you do not change your hearts and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3). . MCK also often said the children mind is purest. ignorant does not mean it's bad. if one is not pure, ignorance is bad. if pure, ignorance is also bodhi. æ— æ˜Žçƒ¦è„‘ 烦æ¼å³è©æ.
it doesn't stopped at 时候.
beside, my brother practice Vajrayana.
