I can be from the vulgar path but at least I am on a path.
You live in your own hell, the one you created. It could get worse!
Anyway, if you don't feel stupid when beginning to chant, and able to devote yourself to chant singlemindedly, feel free to share your experience.
Incidentally, there are meanings attached to the mantra, symbolism of the visual deities, also we attach a sense of sacredness and holiness to the mantra, making the mantra more resonant and intense than your chant.
So when we chant we begin with a sense of sacredness and devotion. This way we create our own field of peace and stillness.
You can get out of your hell and negativity, you understand in some sense how it works, only that you are too cynical or too world wise.

Erm I convert to christianity cos I find logic in the sinner part.
I have difficulty dennying I am a sinner then how I be a buddhist.
When christian asked me am I a sinner, I can't denny that. I said yes I am a sinner.
So christianity suits me more.
Yes, I dun denny I used to follow venerable master chin kong. Used to chant amtf many times per day. I watched hundreds of hours of his videos on youtube too.
That's y I registered under pure_emptiness which is his Dharma name.
Zenist is wrong to accuse the fashi of being schizioprenic. U cannot anyhow say ppl is shizioprenic.
U need a shrink to make a formal diagnosis.

Buddhists believe that everybody is intrinsically good, that we all can realise our potential through our own efforts. We recognise our defilements and work from there. You just felt guilty, but just can't or unwilling to put a finger to what making you feeling guilty. It is only we when face our flaws and take ownership of it, that we begin to let go of what making us unhappy.

You see grasping but if that is inherent, why do we bother to educate and inculcate and why we humans still endure? we should have killed ourselves many times over.
Or that you are still here, or even existed at all if not due to your forebears.
And if you are born inherently bad, then it is futile to get save youself. Only if you have the potential to be saved that you can be saved.

Dun wish to take part in never ending arguement.
Religious things are sensitive.

Not religious at all , just applying logic and fruitful discourse. You may leave it at this point, I still need to continue to investigate and learn.

Zenist meant it as an insult.

Yeah, I believe you are living in hell. Only those who are living in hell will curse and swear. I have no comments if that is the path you choose but please don't cross your path to heaven. When you are in Rome, do what the Romans do. When you are in wisdom bliss, speak what we speak, don't speak hell language here.
Give yourself a chance to experience heaven.

Ha ha ha........................ I've not seen anyone change religion as frequently as you do.
I'm curious of how many times you have changed religion. If I'm not wrong you change every 3 to 6 months.
Buddhism to Christianity to Buddhism to Christianity to Buddhism to Christianity ................
Please don't go round telling others that you are a Buddhist who converts to Christianity because you are not a Buddhist, I mean a true Buddhist who understands what Buddha was trying to preach. However, you are always welcome to convert to Buddhism again as Buddhism always opens its door to everyone but I'm not too sure how many times you have offended Christianity God or has God forgiven you the last time you left Christianity.

This shows one fundamental truth of Buddhism:

No not every 3 month.
Sorry if I offend u. I am the type of person who is indecisive. I buy PC game for example take one hour to chose the sets. My family nt rich buy one PC game only mah.
Yes I do switch my religion beliefs.
I am more comfortable with christianity.
I never go around telling people I am a buddhist.
Christianity, the door of forgiveness is also open until u drop dead. God will forgive u even if u leave christian and later on convert back. Even many times u keep changing, God will still forgive u as long as u repent and believe in God again. The door of christianity is alway open too.
I am quite a firm believer in Christianity now.
I have no intention to post here but since sinweiyi posted about me I decided to post back.

This is due to a personality flaw that i have.
Indecisiveness.
I am 100% certain I wanna be a christian this time though. I enjoyed worship songs very much and especially psalms and proverbs.
Amazing grace is my fav song.
I am less indecisive now. I just picked a hp model easily in the hp shop. I used to take a long time. God bless me.

As long as you stop trying to be a hatchetman in service of god, the kind of things you used to do. What goes around comes around.
Anyway you have some affinity, that's why you are here, just not ripen yet.

I am over 21 , i am matured enough to make spiritual decision.
I can even vote in the next GE if there's no walkover.
Why tell me wad to do? Do u think u r a bigshot?
Why do u tell wad comes around goes around to me? I dun believe in Karma.
The good thing is my self esteem has greatly increased. My walking posture and decisiveness has greatly increased. Used to walk with heads down.
The problem with keep on changing religion is self esteem n indecisiveness, when that is reduced, of cos I can make a religious decision.
The root of the problem has been significantly reduced.
I also pray to God to support me to lose some weight. I am making good progress with weight loss too.
God is great he really reduced my urge for snacks and tibbits. I already lost some weight now.
