There is a small shop beside Unity that is in Fortune Centre besides Guanying temple at Waterloo Street. Sometimes when i print dharma books, i will placed some over there. There are a lot of Dharma books which are all for free.
There is a free dharma book shelf outside Evergreen Buddhist bookshop near Outram Park.
Oops I think I have some to give away.

it's more like asking them to dispose/settle respectfully. but we may dispose respectfully. respect is the key.

Dharma books should be burnt if you wish to dispose them. They should not be thrown into rubbish bin, for example.

Don’t understand how leaving dharma books in temples imply a sign of disrespect to these places? In fact, I believe dharma books which are still in good conditions and are meant for free distribution and after reading, should be left in these temples where other devotees can have access to them as well.
One also will find many temples accepting unwanted statues where others who want them can also take them home. It is of course troublesome for temples when such number of unwanted statues mounts, but at least they do know how to properly dispose of them.

Yeah, agree with you. However I understand that some temples have rules like asking for permission before putting dharma books in their temple. May be they want to ensure that the dharma books that others place in their temple are teaching true Buddhism.
