re: chanting at home

  hi! wil like to get some advice on chanting at home.i would like to do "chanting" or "rou fo" at home using "ying ching".pls advices the followings,thks

  1)can i do "rou fo" wearing "hai ching" ard my living n dining hall?

  2)any info/picture on the method on holding the "ying ching".?

  For 1 - there is no restriction in wearing hai ching, it's a normal attire worn in the dynasty period. evolution of humane society has replaced hai ching with cosmopolitan attire, and it also has its wonderful meaning. Hai ching also can warm body in cool atmospheric condition.

  For 2 - yc is an instrument for coordination during group rou fo, for one person, no required. Unless there are spirits requested to rou fo together.

  For beginners, you can chant anywhere at home except on the bed. You do not need those 2 items.

  No restriction chanting on the bed for buddha name etc
