Emptiness?
hudur
In the language of Islamic philosophy , presence (hudur) – like you and I,NOW , is not just a matter of standing in relation to something butparticipating (like the real Sufi called Ibnu Waqt (child of the moment)) inthe full reality of existence . Thus , to be present is to be participating inthe ETERNAL NOW. And the eternal now is the Divine Time.God knows things not through temporal sequence but through ontological
generation. Kalin observed that :
“The ontological moment , however, does not imply a beginning, passageor end in time”.It refers to “an origin in the first Principle”. This refer toQur‟anic dictum that there is nothing before and after God (alam Sarmadi
of Mir Damad) as given in surah 30:4
“an origin in the first Principle”.
In Buddhism, the supremeness of all is this suchness. “an origin in the first Principle”. As and upon first principle develops into second principle, the suchness lost it origin. Thereafter 3rd principle, 4th principle so forth. And the ultimate abode of Pureland Amitabha is in such principle. And the amazingness of pureland amitabha is not the ultimate abode, but the other abodes that witnessing the 1st principle as well in all moment although is not self attained but through Buddha amitabha vow.
Nothingness.
