The interesting part to what I think meant layman(white cloth) practitioners as preachers. I do not how bad the situation is, but all teachers and teachings must have some relevancy in order for the audience to connect. Maybe teachings for monks and novices need to more well rounded, world wise. I don't know, what are your thoughts?
When I was much younger, before I was better acquainted with Buddhism, religion was last in my priorities, something to acquired upon accomplishment of more worldly objectives. The Dharma door of suffering and dissapointment changed all that!
