Greeting from Taiwan II

2nd Day in Taiwan....has just traveled from Tainan to KaoiSiung...
Tainan weather not as cold as Taipei....today before even morning call, woke up and go jogging on the roads around 5am+...Wow...weather just cooling nia...saw quite a few Pin Lang Mei...in closer proximity.......all not chio one.....sian....
Also bypassed a few KTV lounges...those valet parking attendants(mafia) keep staring at me.... 
..scare scare.....because the tour guide say Tainan has the worst crime issue, where all clans have representative in these area....Later at breakfast, read on the newspaper there is a shooting just around the block of the hotel yesterday morning.... I might have ran past the area just now, unnoticing...
KaoiSiung has lot of highrise building compare to Tainan, so is the traffic jam...Makan wise still similar, lots of food to eat...chiong the snacks again...sigh...now still pretty full....
At least this particular hotel has a gym, tomorrow will go gym first before leaving.... 
Running on the road is not safer, especially as a foreigner, the local keep staring at you...and you are not familiar with the environment...
Another day gone...hopefully i still can get Internet access in the next hotel...till then...stay healthy and have a great new week ahead...

I am BACK from Taiwan....1 week gone and 3kg heavier.... even though have been doing jogging and gyming during these few fays
Must be something wrong with the weighing machine at the Taipei airport...
So much changes in Taiwan since the last visited 11 years ago. Glad that i make the trip and get to know the country better.
Good Food, Good Weather and the right crowd make the trip valuable.
Anyone interested to visit Taiwan, i can provide some useful tips...

did u try the xiang chang and barbeque "kao rou" at snake alley ... I missed those

Tried alot of food, but didn't tried xiang chang...thinking back...xiang chang is not on the priority list leh?... Didn't buy much things in Taiwan also...except some food stuffs...don't know what to buy also...nothing special or excites kops21....
Wanna go Hard Rock to buy the merchandise, but last year go BUSTED leow...so cannot go...but got go H TERS....which is 50 steps from the hotel i stayed yesterday... Taiwan H TERS Mei Mei better than Spore H TERS Mei Mei -
snake alley used to be the shady underbelly exotica of taipei nightlife. There you find shops selling snake blood, snake aphrodisiac, all sorts of sex paraphernalia, you find brothels hookers and street walker everywhere, surprisingly it is also a hangout for night eatery crowd lotsa food and pasar malams selling all sorts of immitation watches, handbags and other goods. That was more than 10years ago. When Ah Bian took over as mayor of taipei he cleaned out all the triads and closed all the pirate hair saloon, massage palors and brothels which used to dot the landscape and drove it underground. He also cleaned out snake alley. I heard it is more a tourist place now but still can find good food there. -
