hee.. reporting only 10 days after the dust has settled.
this is my very first marathon! for those who are scared are thinking of taking part, but are scared to try it, dun worry-> you can walk!! (cos that's what I did..
)
But of course you must also train up to a certain fitness level lah..
at bedok jetty (abt 25km) my knees just gave up on me cos of an old injury. so after that was a bloody long 17km walk back to the padang. wah.. felt like giving up, but luckily i didn't. Cos towards the end, everyone was just walking to the finishing line anyway, and there's nothing paiseh abt it.. (Plus, I wouldn't have got that nice finisher t-shirt if i had gave up
).
Finished in 5hr40m. My target next year will be to finish under 5
(that is, if my knee allow me.
)..
