  Anyway with my work it is pretty difficult to take up driving lessons unless it is during the weekends, which is so much more pricey. Maybe if Chris sponsors me I'll learn

  erm...juz taggin in e price for learning 2 drive now....its now capped at $36 for 90mins of practical lesson in for private instructors(wk end)...unless u go for sch....den its gonna cost alot more...

  That's so true! Elindra my hubby thought like u did, too, but once he's behind the wheel he's very alert. Same here, when I'm driving, all tiredness seems to go away. Plus... there's the great feeling of P-O-W-E-R.. I can do anything I want, go anywhere I want (within speed limits of course)

  I am actually soooooooooooooooo ready to learn driving! If not for the darn fiscal constraints! I've been plain dreaming of driving for ages now!! The freedom, the independance, and it opens up a world of opportunities!!

  BTW, would you believe it, Elindra... I've even DREAMT of driving several times!! In my dreams, I'm always speeding even though I don't know how to drive and then yelling 'Where's the BRAKE??!!! AAaaaahhhh!!!!'

  You can actually ask people you know to give you a few driving lessons, to chalk up the 50 hour requirement you have to meet b4 u can take your driving test. That'll save alot of $$$ !

  Actually, I wouldn't speed unless I have mastery over my car and I am assured of a large margin of safety in the particular stretch of road.
  
  Afterall, I've seen too many nasty Road Traffic Accident victims in the ICU and I know the serious consequences a moment's joy ride can end up in...
  
  Wanna know why I never learnt driving in my early 20's although the temptation was there? It was because I knew I couldn't trust myself then to curb the speed demon! hehehehe!!!
  
  I'm not so bad now. And I won't speed with passengers in my car. They're 'precious cargo' and besides, I don't want to be responsible for anyone else's death or injury.
