well, have not been thinking about football or beer much lately
come to think about it, i've not been thinking about much or been focussed on anything lately..
hmm.. kinda in a fuzz at the moment...
anyone feel like that?
anyway, back to the topic, ef ai did say it well, these forums are a great "meeting place"
but how cool would it be to meet someone at a bookshop or library? coz straight off (at least for me) we'd have something in common

i've never allowed myself to be disillusioned with life...
read a book, and in it, someone humbled me with his optimism!
in the middle of WWII, when his school was bombed, and burned.. his life's work being razed to the ground, the headmaster watched.. and imagined with excitement how his next school would be like!
now, that's optimism... always have hope... for without hope, there is no life

Yes, the actual library construction is 90% close to what it looks like in the picture! I think it's due for a soft launch in June this year which I assumed meaning opening to public, and an official launch in September...
Yes, you can go to the new library when you're back in Singapore again, SL! That means they're ahead of schedule! Previously I was told they r gonna open end 2005... -

It's all abt choices in life everyday... U meet new ppl everyday, everywhere, jus a matter of watcha gonna do that's impt.
Well I took my chances n the rest is history...
So take a chance, get 2 know that someone a little bit better ... nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows wat the path u taken might lead to? Perhaps bliss or perhaps jus another fren? But at least u lived w/o regrets -

Are there any chance that love will strike like in the movies, where the female and the male leads met in the middle of the streets or lift or any other remote place where you never imagine you can meet someone new? Nahhhhhh...
What do you do? Go for sgForums outings? SDU? Speed-dating outings? Online-dating sites? Go clubbing? Go for courses like cooking or diving or golf?
So how do you meet new people? That's what happened to me.
But assuming that I'm still single and avalible and looking for love, I guess I just get to know more people through friends or even sgforums. I won't sign up for SDU or speed-dating outings etc. Will only do so when I'm really desperate. -

As for speed-dating, hey, I was thinking of organising speed-dating outings for forumnites... Think there's good money to be made... Anyone?

one of my colleagues met her husband at one of them SDU things...
and she wasn't looking at that time.. she said she was actually "accompanying her friend" (yah yah.. we believe her
