Wow, LazerLordz........I like the Bugis Street pix. Oh, the spiral staircases. You mean Sg really has it??? I've only seen these in Montreal.

Whoa MG, those buildings look like they could have come from a sci-fi movie,all that glass and thin wiry frames... nice pics.
SL, the first pic, I did not use a polarising filter, only an intensifier to enhance the contrast.The colours are credited to the Fuji's sensor.

By the way, on my last visit to Singapore, my old schoolfriend brought me to a corner restaurant in the Bugis area that specializes in tofu. On the way there, we walked pass the flats with the colourful spiral staircases featured in your image above. I actually took a few pictures of the staircases with my film camera (you remember those, don't you?), but they sure as hell didn't turn out as nice as your image.

MG, yes the tofu shop is near the stairs . And I still love all those shots of Minnesota .So much of looming buildings..
Kopiosatu, the last picture reminds me of War of the Worlds..just watched it in the evening -

MG, whoa... Minnesota is a pretty city! When I saw the crisp, sharp lines of the buildings, I thought they resembled those I see when I play SimCity 3000! The buildings looked 'perfect'! -

As I recall, the restaurant was (is?) located at the corner of the building, and the tofu seller was just one of the stalls located therein. The "selling point" was that the tofu was prepared in a way that made it resemble other types of food, like fried chicken and fishballs. Pretty tasty stuff, as I recall! Wouldn't mind dropping by that place again the next time I'm in Singapore.
