Hello, all!
Here are some images I snapped whilst strolling through downtown St. Paul over the lunch hour today.
At the Farmers' Market, I came across this vendor selling 100% organic "homemade" soap. Anyone interested in lathering up with "A Hunk of Man" soap? In case the text is too small, the label reads: "Citrus, Musk, Vanilla, Oak Moss and Patchouli. Captures the essence of a Sexy man." Grrrr!
Your guess is as good as mine as to what this monstrosity of a "sculpture" is intended to depict. To me, it looks like a rocket-propelled pumpkin topped with an anemometer. I am not the only person wishing that a bus coming down the hill would go out of control and careen into this poor excuse for modern art.

MG, downtown looks very pretty! There are lovely buildings there to admire. Better than all the pre-fab buildings we have here, which ends up looking more or less the same - it's either greenish glass or turquoise glass or bluish glass.
I loved the photo with the patch of flowers!

That sculpture looks like a blown-up anatomical model of our bladder with the urethra truncated! Don't stand under that hole below the 'balloon' or else you might get nasty surprises!! 
Hmm... it also looks like a simplified, mini version of the aliens in the movie, War of the Worlds. -
Good stuff MG.I love the red brick buildings and the variety of colors.There's something about the blue skies that can't be found in SG.

and tare, the cam is dead.. gotta wait for monday before i bring it to the repair people.. and hopefully, it's not the CCD that's dead...
if it is, i'm out of a cam until i can afford the Nikon 8800 -

Ya know, I've always wondered about that! I notice that the skies in the photographs taken in Singapore almost always lack the deep blue found in the ones taken here. Do you see any lovely Azaleas in your neighbourhood? I miss seeing them! I remember when I was in Tulsa, they bloomed all over the neighbourhood I lived in. They were very pretty and loud!
Time for me to go over to Popeye's in Changi Airport Terminal 1 soon, cause everytime I eat Popeye's, I get transported back to the US... if only in my mind! -
