  In my opinion, the claws yield the largest amount of flesh for the least work done, a dispropotion I can gleefully live with!
  
  I like them done any which way... no preference cause crabs taste good cooked in a variety of styles.
  
  And, I was thinking of Kukup... Actually, we can make a trip to Kukup as a small group, what do you think? Who's game?

  Asked my mom, asked my grandma...both remembered eating it but don't know where it's available nowadays.

  the trick is getting them critters... special tree-climbing mangrove crabs...
  
  "cooking" is easy... a pot of light soy sauce, smashed garlic and chilli... throw the crabs in them for a few days... then remove them crabs, serve with vinegar and chilli

  used to catch these crabs at Ubin when fishing... gave them to my friend mother who love the buah kee..... too bad I never got to taste it ...

  this crabs are not cooked... they're just pickled... so i don't think it's a vinegar sauce
  
  but heck... it sounds good... get recipe?

  err i saw one live one b4...had hard time catching it then it disappear....found in mangrove region
  
  purple color...seems poisonous..can eat?
