The Trios supposedly sound great as well - apparently the horns outperform dome drivers.
Mind you, 76 grand is just for the speakers - I imagine you'd have to get at least a good turntable and valve amp to go with it. -

I got JVC tv at home.. lasted quite long.. Phlips mini hi-fi pissed me real off, dunno why the remote can control the vol but not other functions!! I had to plug off one of the speakers when watching a dual band show!!Originally posted by Rhonda:Isn't JVC a good brand?

everything i owned made by philips died spectacularly!
from a fan which metal blades decided to come off, to a smoky PC monitor...

there is a level where the money thrown is way too much for the performance
lots of these high-end ones are like that...
i'm pretty happy if i have a set of Infinity speakers which, to me, are pretty value for money
